Reaching HigherAs a non-profit organization, Hijabi Ballers strives to create opportunities for Muslim girls and women to engage in sport, through a variety of ways. Reaching Higher is the organization's first ever charity campaign. Sarah Saleem’s passion to reach higher and help give Syrian refugee children the opportunity to go to school is the inspiration behind this meaningful project.
Leading up to Sarah's climb, Hijabi Ballers will be hosting various sports clinics across the Greater Toronto Area, including Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto. Each event requests a suggested donation of $30 per person, 100% of which will go towards Sarah’s cause. The events will be facilitated in gyms and fitness centres across the GTA, who are passionate about helping grow opportunities for Muslim females in sports. |
