Serve to Lead:
Beginner Tennis & Leadership Program
Delivered in partnership with: Midaynta Community Services & Philpott Children’s Tennis
Step onto the court, build your game, and lead the way.
Serve to Lead is a 4-week beginner tennis and leadership development program designed for Muslim girls and women (ages 13+). Delivered in partnership with Midaynta Community Services and Philpott Children’s Tennis, this program combines fundamental on-court tennis instruction with pathways to future leadership, officiating, and coaching opportunities.Whether you have never held a racquet or are looking to refresh your basics, you’ll learn in a culturally safe, empowering, and female-led environment guided by Philpott-trained female coaches.
Program Details
Dates: Saturdays, September 12 – October 3, 2026 (4-Week Cohort)
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: UTSC Tennis Courts 130 Old Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1E 3J5
Eligibility: Girls and women ages 13+ (Beginner-friendly)
Coaching: Led by Philpott-trained female coaches
Accessibility: Bus tokens / transit support available upon request
Cost: Free / Subsidized (Limited spots available)
