F-Series: Female Functional Fitness

A functional strength training program designed to teach foundational movement patterns that translate to everyday movements. Our sessions are led by certified female trainers, grounded in community, confidence and strength. 

F-SERIES: Spring 2026

F-SERIES is back for the Spring 2026 season! Whether you are picking up a weight for the first time or looking to refine your lifting technique, our functional strength program provides a safe, private, and supportive environment led by certified Muslim female trainers.

A Holistic Approach to Strength

At Hijabi Ballers, we believe strength is about more than just what happens on the gym floor. F-Series prioritizes holistic health through:

  • Specialized Workshops: Join us for deep-dive discussions on female-focused health topics, designed to empower you with knowledge about your body and performance.

  • Fueling Your Success: Enjoy our Healthy Snack Bar at the end of every single session—the perfect way to refuel and connect with your fellow athletes.

Program Overview

  • Duration: April – May 2026

  • Cost: $20 per 4-week cohort

  • Format: Private sessions in a supportive, female-only space.

  • Parking: Free onsite parking is available at both locations.

  • Registration: Opens March 30, 2026, via Eventbrite.

Choose Your Location & Level

We are offering two distinct streams this season to meet you where you are in your fitness journey.

Beginner Friendly Sessions at Sweat Society

Perfect for those new to strength training or looking for a supportive start.

  • Location: Sweat Society, 45 Cranfield Rd, East York, ON M4B 3H6

  • Time: Sundays, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM

  • April Cohort: April 12 – May 3

  • May Cohort: May 10 – May 31

Intermediate Sessions at LPS Athletics

Designed for those with lifting experience looking to level up their performance.

  • Prerequisites: Minimum 6 months of consistent strength training and familiarity with core movement patterns (Squat, Hip Hinge, Upper Body Press/Pull).

  • Location: LPS Athletics, 125 Martin Ross Ave #12, North York, ON M3J 2L9

  • Time: Thursdays, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

  • April Cohort: April 9 – April 30

  • May Cohort: May 7 – May 28
